Altera has a long history of community involvement. Through financial support of charitable organizations and employee volunteer activities, we are committed to supporting and improving the communities in which we live and work. Our employees support numerous charities, including The Second Harvest Food Bank, Red Cross blood drives, Resource Area for Teachers, The American Cancer Society, The Special Olympics (Macau), The Meningitis Trust (UK), Capnochokinbako (Japan), and the Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital (Malaysia). Additionally, Altera supports global disaster relief through company contributions to the International Red Cross.
Altera Community Team

Altera Foundation
In 2011, the Altera Foundation was established to further our involvement in the community and belief that innovation enables the betterment of individuals, communities, and society. The foundation makes strategic corporate donations to programs emphasizing science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education. Additionally, the foundation's employee matching gift program allows employees to increase the impact of their personal monetary donations to STEM-related programs.
